Who is behind the design of The Bodylastics exercise tubing system ? Hi. My name is Blake Kassel simply put, I have already tried it all. I had my first set of free weights when I was 13, a Soloflex when I was 15, and joined one of the first hard-core bodybuilding gyms in NYC (Madison Avenue Muscle) when I was 16. I once tried to calculate all of the time that I had spent in the gym and collectively it worked out to several years! You don't know how many times I wished that I had a pump up machine that I could use in my room, outside or even on the road. When I was in college (those were the days when I was competing in Bodybuilding) someone told me about these new great elastic tubes that I could use right in my room at the fraternity house. There was one problem - they did not have enough resistance to challenge my muscles - and I WAS STRONG. After about 10 years of serious training with weights I took a certification course for personal training with the National Academy of Sports Medicine (NASM). Whoa, was that an eye opener! I realized that I had been training incorrectly for years, performing exercises for a certain muscle that really had nothing to do with that muscle. In addition I was exercising in ways that could actually be harmful to my body. At the end of the certification program, the instructors continued to refer to this great tool that you could use with your clients. Yep, you guessed it, the tool was exercise tubing. After using the tubes for a while it became very clear how great they really were. I have been hooked ever since. I even sleep with exercise tubing under my pillow (just kidding). It is my mission to promote exercise all over the United States. Exercise saved my life so many times when I was younger and even today. When you exercise it is YOU taking care of YOU. How often do you do that? If you are not getting the emotional or attention needs from your home or work, you can certainly get it when you exercise because YOU are providing it. Self reliance is very powerful! I created this site because I hate to see people giving up exercise because life gets too complicated and busy. I understand first hand the time constraints that can take over our lives. Exercise and taking care of ourselves should not sacrificed.
I have been preaching about exercise tubing for years, but let me tell you that I am preaching even harder now. I am 34 years old with children and they need my attention. There is the constant struggle for time to help myself. Exercise tubing is the solution! Look through the site and see what I mean. Thanks for visiting,
I Truly live for your e-mails!
